All-Night Graduation Party,
hosted by Tri-Town Council, is just around the corner. This event begins right
after graduation on Friday evening, June 6, 2008 and the evening is
filled with lots of fun activities! This all night event is for graduating
seniors only. More information soon!

"GIRL TALK"
Facilitated by Doreen Harris
This
program brings girls (ages 10-12, 5th and 6th grade) together with their
mothers or another special woman, in a series of workshops designed
to increase and nurture positive communication about growth and development.
RSVP to the TTC office (978-887-6512) by 2/26/08. Participation is limited
and will be on a first-come first-served basis.
Mondays,
March 3 (adults only), March 10, March 17, March 24, 6:30-8:30pm at the
Emerson Ctr-Topsfield.
Parents and students ages 10-12,
Grades 5 & 6 are welcome. Fee: $60.
KEEPING TEENS SAFER ON THE ROAD: What every
parent, teen driver, and passenger needs to know!
Please join the Tri-Town Council & SEDAC for this important discussion on safe driving behaviors, teen
attitudes towards driving, everyday risks faced by all drivers, particularly
teens, and new MA state laws and insurance regulations effecting all
households. The forum will include presentations by Dan Strollo, In
Control Advanced Driver Training and State Representative Brad
Hill, among others.
Monday, March 17, 2008, 7-
8:30pm at the Masco Cafeteria.
Parents and students in Grade
9-12 are welcome.
Students are encouraged to attend!

PARENTING FOR CHARACTER:
How to Raise Responsible, Caring, Achieving Children featuring educator,
author and consultant Stephanie Meegan.
All parents want to set limits that will
enable their children to grow into individuals of strong character. Young
people who are competent, considerate, self-reliant and resilient have the
foundation for a productive, balance, meaningful life. In this program,
Stephanie Meegan
will provide parents with insight into how solid character development is
nurtured in children including behaviors & attitudes that are "warning
signs"; suggest alternative parenting strategies that encourage the
development of positive character skills and strategies to minimize
conflicts when they arise.
Thursday, March 27, 2008, 7:00pm at the
Proctor Elementary School in Topsfield This program is co-sponsored by
the Tri-Town Council and the Boxford, Topsfield and Middleton PTO's. Parents of
preschool through grade 6 are welcome. No charge.
