Tri-Town Council employs two adjustment counselors, Joan Murphy and Adam Thurlow MSW, that have offices at the Masconomet Regional Middle School and High School. Our counselors see over 50 students each week, and over 350 students per year for issues including; stress, depression, substance abuse, and other emotional and behavioral concerns of students.
Our counselors are an important part of our organization. We meet with them often to discuss issues that are going on at the Middle School and High School. At Tri-Town Council, we try to collaborate with our counselors, the school administration and local organizations to help offer solutions with these issues by offering parent and student workshops as well as other prevention alternatives. Our Tri-Town Council adjustment counselors are instrumental in bringing programs to our schools and community that reach more than 2000 parents and kids.
