The need to talk to a counselor does not end when school lets out. Things happen at night, on weekends, and during holidays and vacations. Now, with Project Safety Net, students or adults can talk with a counselor at any time, day or night, by calling (978) 771-4619. Project Safety Net is a telephone support line manned by Tri-Town Council counselors and affiliates. Hours of operation now extend to after-school, nights, weekends, holidays, and vacations, in addition to regular daytime business hours. TTC counselors--Gary Sinclair, Adam Thurlow, Joan Murphy, or a local affiliate--will be available to talk with you for the purpose of support and referral. There are many reasons why a person might call Project Safety Net; he or she may feel depressed, suicidal, confused, or very angry and about to lose control. He or she may be a victim of violence or other abuse, or may just need information. The service is there for people whose concerns are immediate and can’t wait until regular business hours. For more information, please call Gary Sinclair at the Tri-Town Council, (978) 887-6512.
