    Camp Invention

    Fuller Meadow School, Middleton

    Camp Invention returns to Fuller Meadow!

    Please note: If Fuller Meadow cannot be secured due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Camp Invention Recharge program will be transitioned to an “At Home” virtual experience. The “At Home” experience will be facilitated by certified educators from Camp Invention during the same week.  Please call the Camp Invention Customer Service department at 800-968-4332 with any questions.

    LEGO® Robotics Jurassic Bricks

    9:00am-11:45AM

    Entering Grades 1-5

    Fee $155

    IN-PERSON OFFERING @ Trinity Church, Topsfield

    Young LEGO enthusiasts and budding paleontologists will absolutely love Seacoast Technology Workshops’ latest program...Jurassic Bricks!  Using LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotics kits we will build our way through the Jurassic period! We will learn all about dinosaurs as we construct a dozen different species including triceratops, sauropod, stegosaurus, and of course a t-rex! Then using laptops and specially designed drag-and-drop software we will bring our dinosaurs to life!  All participants will receive a special LEGO Paleontologist certificate of achievement! Note: Participants do not get to take LEGO projects home. 

    Full day registrants may bring a bagged lunch! Seacoast Technologies and Tri-Town Council gratefully acknowledge our community partner, Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Rd In Topsfield as host of this summer Camp.

    LEGO® Robotics Master

    12:15 - 3:00pm

    Entering Grades 1-5

    Fee $155

    IN-PERSON OFFERING @ Trinity Church, Topsfield

    Do you have what it takes to be the Tri-Town's next LEGO Master? Young LEGO Masters will be guided through a series of daily LEGO robotic challenges!  Participants will have access to thousands of specialized LEGO bricks including motors, sensors, and so much more! Then, using a laptop and kid-friendly LEGO WeDo 2.0 software, teams will create programs to bring their creations to life! Daily challenges will include amusement park rides, vehicles, animals, and much more! This is a can’t miss one-of-a-kind program for LEGO fans! All participants will receive a special Tri-Town LEGO Master certificate of achievement! Note: Participants do not get to take LEGO projects home.

    Video Game Designer

    9:00 - 11:45AM

    Entering Grades 3-6

    Fee $155

    IN-PERSON OFFERING @ Trinity Church, Topsfield

    It’s time to STOP playing video games and time to START creating them!  In this fun-filled class participants will learn how to program and create their very own video games! We will learn how to create sprites, objects, levels, backgrounds, sound effects and much more as we create several games that can be shared with family and friends! We'll create a multi-level, customized adventure game complete with zombies, potions, coins, trap doors, and so much more! Participants should bring a flash drive in order to save and take their games home with them.

    Scratch Video Game Programmer

    12:15 - 3pm

    Entering Grades 3-6

    Fee $155

    IN-PERSON OFFERING @ Trinity Church, Topsfield

    Stop playing video games and start making your own! In this fun and action-packed class participants will learn how to program their very own Space Invaders game that can even be played on a mobile device! Each day, children will learn to think creatively and learn important problem-solving strategies as they design and program a variety of different games and animations. We will learn about the Scratch platform and create games that can easily be shared with friends and be played online!

  • August 24 - 26th 

    Skills in the Wild & Other Natural Fun!

    10:00 - 12pm

    Youth aged 10 - 12

    Fee $75

    IN-PERSON OFFERING @ Trinity Church, Topsfield

    Join us as the Danvers YMCA shares their cool skills based program!!  We will learn about building, preservation, orienteering, survival, and mapping skills! Build your own Bat house! Apply science with food! Practice orienteering or GEO caching!  

    Program space generously provided by community partner Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Rd., Topsfield.
