The Community Assistance Program (CAP) of Tri-Town Council advances TTC’s mission by fostering a caring, connected community where every family feels supported and valued.
Through confidential holiday giving and community collaboration, CAP promotes dignity, compassion, and connection — ensuring that all youth experience the joy and sense of belonging that come from a community that cares during the holiday season.
This year, CAP’s focus is on TEENS/TWEENS and parents— groups often overlooked during holiday giving.
Please consider donating teen/tween favorites such as:
-
Gift Cards (Target, TJMaxx, Market Basket, CVS, local shops/cafés/activities, etc.)
-
Winter hats/scarves/gloves
-
Cozy socks/slippers
-
Fun PJ pants
-
Arts & crafts supplies
-
Games & activities
-
Sports/outdoor gear
-
Other thoughtful gifts
Together, we can make the holidays brighter for every young person in our community.
Our Purpose
During the holiday season, we recognize that some families in our Tri-Town community face challenges in providing gifts or meeting everyday expenses. These moments can deeply affect the dignity and confidence of our caring adults — and in turn, impact the well-being of our youth.
The Community Assistance Program (CAP) brings together volunteers and community members to promote holiday giving and support families in need. Each year, we identify where the greatest need exists and invite our community to come together through donations and acts of kindness.
In a confidential and respectful way, CAP connects with families within our Tri-Town Schools to provide assistance in the form of gifts and gift cards, empowering parents and caregivers to bring joy to their children during the holiday season.
