In PhotoVoice 2024-2025, our team was made up of a creative and eclectic group with various backgrounds, perspectives, ages, and life experiences. This made for engaging discussions as we experimented with a range of media—photography, drawing, painting, clay, music, writing, etc.—in their exploration of what matters to them.

Mental health was a central theme that emerged, and their final series of eight posters ultimately expressed aspects of this theme involving connection, comfort, growth, well-being, self-expression, and noticing life's beauty.

We believe a community that values and listens to the voices of our youth is a stronger, healthier community for all, which positively impacts the future in countless ways.
Many thanks to the Boxford and Topsfield Local Cultural Councils for awarding grants to support this youth program. We are so grateful! Read our blog post about this award.
